POLL DESCRIPTION

DisasterWargamer Supporting Member of TMP writes:

Recently, I came across some information about the US 503rd Parachute Infantry Regiment. I had never before really come across much information about airborne troops in the Pacific. But have come to find out that the Americans, Australians, and Japanese all had airborne troops in the Pacific.
During its more than three years service in the Southwest Pacific Theater, the 503d served in five major combat operations. A number of other missions were planned but called off by higher headquarters.

For the Japanese there were Special Naval Marine forces, as well as Army acting as Airborne (link).

Do you use airborne troops in your Pacific scenarios?
