My two "others" were Charles Saunders' "Imaro" series and, lord help me, the "Gotrek and Felix" series set in the WHFB universe. Both would also work for me as HBO series.

I left out what would have been some top choices in Robert E. Howard's catalogue, as they've all been done as (usually terrible) movies – Kull, Conan, Soloman Kane. All could be HBO series too.

And kudos to whoever suggested Monster Hunter International!

Mute Bystander Inactive Member wonders:

What (fiction) book(s) or series of books deserve multiple movie (2+) presentation on the movie screen? For me, Fantasy (LOTR) has been done. Nothing Science Fiction out there seems worthy of two or more movies to tell the story.
