I generally think of what I do as miniatures gaming. It doesn't always involve war, and sometimes isn't played on a tabletop, so those terms feel a little off target. I've always perceived my hobby to a part of "gaming" which includes military boardgames, role-playing, and miniature adventure or wargames. I've never really viewed computer games as part of the hobby, though have nothing against computer games. Additionally, cardgames don't really seem to be part of the hobby either, but maybe that's just because I'm old.
