I would say 99.9% painted and by me.

SYW and Napoleonicsn I am keeping,but, HOTT and DBA armies are being sold off to feed the SYW addiction. As new figures arrive, I paint them completely before ordering anything else. Therefore, the number of unpainted lead remains insignificant. Of that small unpainted percentage, these are extra command figures or extra riders.

Still, I may use the extras to experiment with Zombie painting technique.

I have painted close to approximately 6,000 15mm minis out of a total collection of approximately 9,500 15mm collection, and about approximately 1,350 28mm minis out of a 4,000 28mm collection, in my collection over the past 15 years of collecting.

So I have painted roughly 55% of my collection, at a average quality of 7 on a 1-10 scale.

Of course, I have bought from ebay.com, I buy prepainted armies from various companies from time to time, etc., and I've also sent armies away to be painted to a few painting companies. That's why my collection is so large.

I've done more painting than I have done playing, as well as buying more terrain and gaming pieces to play games with. I guess in a way, I am preparing for old age… every time I set the paint brush down… and say I'm never going to paint again and just game… I find myself surrounded by hundreds of minis a few months later. I think I've painted everything I want to…

I have to sneak minis packages in and hide them from my wife. Luckily, she thinks it's funny and laughs. The problem is that I also discovered 28mm… I no longer paint the super-easy 15mm… and I paint rather good, I never will say that I'm a pro, I think I paint (on a scale of 1-10) on a average of upper 7. I also have repainted a few figures I bought on ebay.com, but didn't count those.

My wife thinks I've totally lost all my marbles…
