Any battle you want to fight is never a waste of time. Having said that, I did a recreation of Gettysburg and day one was great, day two just as good. After I set up day three and looked at Picket's charge, I just left the table up for a few days and never rolled any dice. It just didn't seem worth the effort for a forgone conclusion. |

I've been thinking, which is dangerous. I love the bridge(s) in the battle, the buildings, and the bravery of the soldiers, but that bridge is so iconic that I feel once it goes on the table, we're stuck replaying the battle again. I use generic Normandy buildings to create anything D-Day beyond the beaches. But Pegasus is always Pegasus in my mind. Is it a waste of time to invest all the time and money in 15mm and larger on that battle? Poll set up by |
