What type of tabletop texture do you prefer (not what you actually play on, but what you 'prefer')?
smooth and hard

Such as a painted or unpainted tabletop - makes it easy to slide bases across the surface.

smooth and soft

Such as a cloth covering - You can still slide the bases pretty well, and allows you to hide the hills underneath.

irregular and hard

A lot of the custom styrofoam terrain would fall into this category - realistic look, but you definitely have to pick up your figs to move them around.

irregular and soft

This would be a cloth surface or perhaps a sand table (maybe teddy bear fur as well) sporting all kinds of terrain - again, you would have to pick up your figures to move them.
