They are not preoccupied, but either too smart or too dumb. Too dumb, because they donīt see life expectancy taking a sharp drop. Too smart, because they think:"If we run now, they will kill us from behind. So we will stand and fight!" :-)
I like the changes, they make gameplay more fluent without making things too unrealistic (itīs a game, btw).

In the new edition of the rules, Panic has been reworked. Changes include:

  • Units no longer take Psychology tests while locked in close combat
  • Units with a unit strength below 5 no longer cause Panic
  • The "Fleeing Friends" penalty only applies if the friendly unit flees through the unit.

How do you rate the changes?
