Define wargaming. It can be as broad as one wants it to be from historical data on the T34/85 to an account of Battle of Adewa.

So, it seems that on almost every thread I eventually read "what has this got to do with wargaming?" Never really understood why, as it seems to me that TMP is a melange of gaming, history, book club, and chat.

So, assuming we could define what "strictly wargaming" means, should TMP be strictly wargaming?

It should be noted that this is only a discursive poll suggestion I have no power to implement the result (my incredible powers to reshape the world sadly fall a little short of the god-like) and, more importantly, TMP is Bill's site and it goes the way he wants.

I guess I'm just trying to understand what proportion of people visit TMP and think "what has this got to do with wargaming?" and get all upset and this and that.
