Oddly, I've never had enough figures, or a rules set that inspired me, to tackle classic Napoleonics in a major way. And I've loved ancient history since my teens and have over the decades acquired huge piles of Greeks, Persians, Romans, and barbarians ready to be assembled, organized, painted, and gamed with. Hasn't happened yet. But some day!!

And if I had money and storage space for a new project, I'd be drawn to the Indian Mutiny aka Sepoy rebellion, I think, because I'd use the Sword & the Flame variant for rules I know would be satisfactory and the mix of units would be colorful and fun to paint and play with.

Is there an historical period/era that you have always wanted to wargame, but just never did? If so, what stopped you from diving in?
