My (completely unqualified) opinion is that selling merchandise through Cafe Press or a similar site is not a bad idea (although how much money will be made through those sales is certainly open to debate). Perhaps having a few figures of well-known TMPers is not such a bad idea (e.g. John the OFM as a faltulant 18th century gentleman, perhaps based on the illustration below) might work as well.

unknown member wonders:

Given the this website is mostly about miniatures, should TMP produce its own merchandise for sale that epitomises all that is good about TMP and its membership? It could be a moderately successful fundraising enterprise.

I know that one site in particular produces a miniature black-and-white-colored cat. Personally, I like the idea of a coyote similar to the cartoon character Wiley Coyote of Warner Bros fame. Ha, ha, I would most certainly not suggest a rat on a sinking ship!

Tee-shirts, mugs, posters, maybe even a chess-set with figures sculpted to represent some Big-Hitter individuals on TMP, past and present.

What miniature figure do you suggest could be appropriate?
