Once we find rules that we like, we tend to stick with them (and see which other periods we can adapt them to). My poor old brain can only handle a limited number of rule systems. I can't understand the mad rush to try the latest shiny new rules. There are gamers that I know that switch rules more often than they change their undies, although, being gamers, some of them might not change their undies that often.

10-30%
I have a set of established favorites but try something new once in a while.
30-50%
I like to try new games out, but the majority are games I'm already familiar with.
50-70%
I like to try new games and am proactive in doing so.
