What recession? Australia hasn't been in recession for 26 years. We are about to break the record set by The Netherlands for the longest period without a recession. Not so hard to make a bit of money in those conditions.

Now that I've finished gloating, I suspect that we well and truly have a bust coming. Then we will find out whether it was such a good idea to let most of our manufacturing industry go offshore.

I asked this before and a pretty good discussion occurred. Are you financially better off now than you were in 2008? Have you recovered from whatever losses you may have sustained during the GR?

Poll set up by Personal logo Editor in Chief Bill The Editor of TMP Fezian, based on this pre-poll discussion.
