Have seen Gettysburg battlefield used in several other eras as well as ACW used in other era scenarios. Seems not that uncommon.

I once saw a scenario where a battle was fought in two or three different eras on the same battlefield with about the same troops. I think it was at Cold Wars one year. I have used classical small unit engagements from history and applied them to modern small unit tactics and training for the Army as well. I once did a seminar about Somalia using the Alamo as a backdrop, does that count?

On the flip side I did a Gettysburg OOB on a German training area, Grafenvier (sp) for some tactical training exercise I ran in USAEUR one time as well.
