Thanks alot that article is a labor of love I got so tired of seeing good minis with poor photo-fu. I still need to add the section on editing and shooting hard colors like red to it. I will also add the gradient/solid background section to it when I get a chance. Also here is a small update if you do alot of larger pieces.

Go to a 5 light system where you have 2 down low aiming slightly up and 2 higher all 45 degress off of the camera in front. One is still suspended overhead. The 2 low lights will fill in shadow areas and help to even the light out over a large mini. I have shot everything from Dragons to warmachines to armies using this system.
