Tom Dye gave my wife some fantasy figures – rodents on scooters, a rodent d'Artagnan, etc. I suspect it was for the patience she whoed during a tour of the GFI factory.

I painted them up and gave most of them to my nieces and nephews, each with a faux-haiku description. The d'Artagnan is my icon.

Uesugi Kenshin Supporting Member of TMP muses...

Have you ever given miniatures as a gift(Xmas, Bday, Kwanza, etc…) to someone who has never expressed the least bit of interest (whatsoever!) in miniature gaming?

For me? Sort of. One year I received free with my Foundry purchase a "Santa Claus" figure. I painted him up and included him in that year's gifts to my Mother. He still resides atop her big screen TV to this very day.
