I'd have said (1) must require miniatures for play, and (2) must be 20+ years old and still in print. Probably wouldn't have needed a second round. Certainly wouldn't have needed a third. But eventually, PDFs and POD will make "in print" a much fuzzier concept, if they haven't already. Assuming we don't really mean "we geezers still play a game every year or two" when we say "stood the test of time" does anyone have a more modern and objective way of checking an old game for signs of life? |
