POLL: Best Substitute for a War Movie?

I put in my set of answers. However, the original question misses out on one important fact: there is never not a war movie on, as long as your VHS/DVD Player works ;)

I'm a little uncertain of the classification of "sci-fi: non-war", though I selected it as one of mine. What defines whether a sci fi is or isn't a war movie in the poll? Most of the Star Wars series would probably count as war movies. Lost in Space might not. Pretty much anything Star Trek probably counts as a war movie, since they're always fighting someone? Starship Troopers, whether loved or hated, is centered around a war. Wing Commander, too. Battle Beyond the Stars is a very small war, but still…a war. Last Starfighter's certainly a war. Tron probably too.

So what movies do we count as Sci Fi but not war? So far, I've got Lost in Space. :>

Questionable: Serenity. Avoiding spoilers, there are a couple of battles and also frequent plot references to a past war, but I'm not sure it technically counts as a war movie.
