Like venusboy says.

Beakies – 'bling' = win.

Wouldn't use them for 40k though as the rules are uninspiring.

POLL DESCRIPTION

Uesugi Kenshin Supporting Member of TMP Inactive Member marvels...

In recent discussions in the polls and SF threads, I could see that several other people, like myself, preferred the first-edition Rogue Trader (40K) Space Marines ("Beakies") with long snouts to the later various incarnations.

That being said, if GW (i.e., "those who shall not be named") were to re-release a plastic multi-part boxed set of Horus Heresy-period "Beaky" marines, would you buy them?

For me, that's simple. If they made them in metal boxed sets with ridiculous prices, then "no." If they came in plastic sets that were "affordable," then "yes." I would probably actually get about 2x companies worth to be able to re-fight the Horus Heresy-period battles with 28mm minis.

So, back to the question: If "original" armor-styled SMs were released in a plastic set, would you buy them?
