I would agree with the Last Conformist that an aouto cross post to the main Ancients board would be nice.

The Republic is as much Roman as the Empire. The Holy Roman Empire is neither.

The term "Ancients" covers a broad swath of history and so various topics get lost in this bucket. My sense is that the Roman Era constitutes a significant portion of this board's topics.

I would like to propose that the Roman Empire or The Roman Era have its own message board within the general Ancients boards. Rather than having to search through the boards to pick out Roman topics, it would be so much easier for them to be a distinct Roman board. Other historical periods have subsets (see the 18th Century/Horse and Musket boards).
