My current favorite practice is to glue 15mms to washers as bases, and then I have a couple nails with magnets glued to the heads. This way I have the convenience of having the mini on a nail while painting, but not the inconvenience of storing a bunch of nails upright during drying.

I'm about to paint some Khurisan Garn, which, thanks to their size, will be based on pennies. Not sure how I'm going to handle that. Maybe there will be temporary washers underneath the pennies…
