--oh yeah and as for the secret shopper thing: we were always told that they were used to ensure that all GW staff would properly run introductory games with no stones left unturned for new customers. The shoppers were looking for friendly staff who offered to show how the game was played, what was needed to get started in the hobby, would mention free painting lessons, and mention gaming nights. I took it very much as the company's way to check if the staff did these things when the manager wasn't in the store. Sure beats using video surveillance to see if staff are doing their jobs.

Reader Ralphio Inactive Member remarked yesterday that:

All the Employees at all the GW's I've been to all in England, (that's England UK, for you crazy American Types) have been really nice and helpful.

What's your experience? How would you rate the customer service at your local Games Workshop-owned store?

On a scale from 1 to 10, where 1 is poor and 10 is excellent.
