POLL: Are You a Dice Collector?

I don't collect them, per se, although they do tend to accumulate. Go to a con, buy a bowl of dice. Run a demo game, pick up a new cube of D6 (if applicable), since demo dice tend to grow legs and run away.

Unlike others here – I have thrown away dice (though rarely). I chucked several handfuls of poorly-performing D20s into the garbage at Origins a few years back. Normally, however, dice which fail me have an appointment with the Iron Bar of Retribution, and their powdered remains serve as object lessons to the others.

I don't know how many I have – one Bailey's cannister, and another five or six dice bags, at the very least. If I did a thorough cleaning of the basement, I would probably find more. But I don't have "lucky" dice – all my dice roll equally poorly, so I can use my "ork' dice with my Tau, etc, and it has no effect on my ability to lose.
