I think the folks over a Reaper have a good balance. While they prime their minis (white and photographed against a dark background), I have seen other sights where it is ink-washed metal and really liked how that brings out details that might not be seen with either a primed mini or just the bare mini. The other thing the Reaper folk have is well painted examples of many of their minis. They display BOTH the painted and primed minis in their gallery. I was disappointed in not seeing pictures of minis at Old Glory when I was looking for special models to complement my American 15mm forces. I detest sites whose pictures are so small that you cannot make out what the mini is regarless of whether it is painted, primed, or washed! Andy Welkley |

Mainly for the sake of those manufacturers with no photos or very poor photos of their products... Would you rather they take good photos of their wares unpainted or painted? |
