Hi Guys.

Looking for some testers if you have a spare 10 mins pop over to link and have a quick look.

I am sorting out the images and its only setup for UK postage at 10% with a min of £2.50 GBP for now.

Find any problems? give me a shout please!

The images aren't working for a start – maybe you've broken the link somehow or have you uploaded them to the wrong folder?

Ace,

I am still resizing the images for some of the catagories, I think the Vallejo Model Colour section is complete.

I like the layout.

Good luck with the store!

I'm getting some Vallejo images: because at least your search worked. Otherwise it seems fine. I use Opera.

And does the font size have to be quite so little? Some people are going to flag it just on that.

keyword search engine worked, that is

Mark which text are you referring too? the main page text or all text?

I can indeed change the font size.

Stevenmack6504 Sep 2006 8:04 a.m. PST

BTW guys dont worry about any of the grammer, I am just typing it all in fast to get a genuine testing platform to work on.

Mark Plant04 Sep 2006 9:25 a.m. PST

Most of the text really. The sidebar type on the main page under "categories" for example is what, 6-point? I don't have a problem with it, but not everyone can see such small type. Just something to think about.

I really, really think those header bars needs to be a lot bigger and a lot more contrast in the type. There's room to go up a couple of sizes of font there.

And that will help people find the home page too, currently only clickable in one place in small font size, white on grey and confusingly called "top".

Mark,

Thanks for the time, I am in the midst of changing a few colours and the font size now.

Im puttin a icon for home, then i`ll change the grey bar to black I think with a yellowish colour text.

Mark thx again.

A couple of other things.

The "Warcry gallery" link opens in a new tab. I warn users on my site when it does this, since Newbies get distressed when they can't go "back", not realising it is a new page/tab.

That gallery page currently has a link that says "home" but when you click it, just takes you back to where you are. So users click it again, because they assume they made a mistake. And then they get annoyed because they were just previously at "home" and now it's not going there. Unless you mean "gallery home", in which case it should say so. No page should ever link back to itself.

The Warcry has no link back to the e-store. A lost opportunity that I presume you intend to rectify.

I found these pages really useful for my site:

I find cruising the examples of Web Pages That Suck both amusing and illuminating (if fairly wasteful of my time).

For those of you interested, this is the worst web page in the world:

Hey Mark,

Thx for the feedback, I have enlarged the text on all fronts, new colours and the Gallery is to be next on the list after some of the icons are redone.

Then its onto the grammer, listings and pictures.
