'Renegade Miniatures would like to congratulate Geoff Martin on his 70th Birthday today. Without this veteran wargamer encouraging us through the years Renegade would probably not have happened.. so you can blame him!! Happy Birthday Geoff from all at Renegade'. picture |

I have very fond memories of gaming with Geoff, both at his house and at the Torbay Wargames Club. One of the real "gentlemen" of gaming. Many happy returns Geoff, Robh |

Thanks everyone for your best wishes for my 70th. birthady which is tomorrow. I have been wargaming for many many years and no I didn't go to school with H.G.Wells. There is no age limit for wargaming so I will never retire, anyway what would I do with over 10,000 figures ?. Now that I have reached 70 I think I can now be classed as a Veteran and should be allowed a plus 1 on all my dice throws, I can hear all those other veterans out there agreeing with me. What a great hobby I've enjoyed every minute of it and it's not over yet, not while I can still roll a dice (adding that plus 1 for being veteran). Geoff |

It seems about time I posted here too . . . Happy Birthday Dad! He inspired me into historical wargaming from a very young age, persevered when I wandered into fantasy wargaming, was patient when boardgaming . . . even supported and later joined in computer wargaming. The consistent bit? Once a wargamer, always a wargamer. Thanks: For a lifetimes worth of hobby knowledge and passion – oh – and for being an absolutely outstanding Dad – it's always best when we fight on the same side. Andy |
