Sorry for appearing self-indulgant, but I am the proud father of a 7 pound 8 oz boy. Born 12-06-05. He joins his four brothers and sisters. His name is Mark Caleb Lewis. My wife is a trooper
.2 days of labor and a sucessful delivery. She even continues to tolerate me (only because I will change the diaper or nappies for those over the ocean). So just the proud crowing of a Daddy! Now off to get a couple of hours sleep. Something I have not seen since Sunday. |

Huzzah! You've taken the first step into a larger world. And it's filled with diapers, bottles, sleeplessness, diaper-rash cream, teething

Congratulations, and Congratulations again! You and your Missus will now come to know the delerious delights of intense sleep deprivation, Oh JOY! Seriously though, She and you will be adapting to a new way of life over the next few months, and will be very stressed for it. If you and she don't already take daily vitamins, you should start. You dont need to be nutritionaly depleted, on top of all the other types of depleted that you're going to be. |

Hmmm
seeing as how I read it this is his FIFTH child
I'd imagine he's pretty well versed in the sleep deprivation angle. He's almost got enough 'miniatures' for a skirmish game. Anyway
congratulations on your successful spawning! |

Congrats! You're well on your way to creating a squad. Five would be too many for me. I give you a lot of credit. I jokingly wanted 10 kids when we had our first but I think we're stopping at just one, so I hope he makes Emperor :-) |

Thanks for all the well wishes. I am learning to type with one hand while holding a baby. Next it is attempting to paint with screaming infant. My oldest daughter is taking to baby. Being a pre-teen she thinks this is great, or what ever she uses for great. Though she failed her morale and made an impeteous charge.."Hey mom, when are you going to have another one!" I now know what a Russian winter feels like!8^) My oldest is 12. I have not slept since before her birth, and since the teenage years are quickly coming
sleep is a thing of the past. |

Congrats! I always thought that I would shoot for a basketball team, but have stopped at a "Mixed Doubles" squad. I'm five years into the gig, and haven't slept yet! Seriously, I've set my alarm click twice in five year
With respect to 2 days labor, I can barely fathom it, as we netted out in just over four hours, TOTAL for BOTH kids
(My daughther, was born 41 minutes after my wife woke me up a 3 am. The time stamp for the Hospital parking was 3:31, Kelly was born at 3:41) |
