I've seen it before - i like the way they have 'zones' arranged by post-alien-invasion force fields. Sounds like a pretty cool idea - this is one of the first MMORPG's that I've had any interest in. |

Read about this a year or so ago in a computer gaming mag. They weren't sure it'd make it out of the gate. Interesting that it has progressed. Hope it works out better than
Freedom Force did. Tho I see FF is coming out with a new set where they fight nazies. dil |

I have noticed that all MMORPG's that dont come from sony or EA are automaticly doomed to vaporware by the computer gaming reviewers. I have some friends in the beta and they seem to like it so far. |

A guy here at work brought in his PC and let me create a character and play around for a little while. I am currently shopping around for a new graphics card to upgrade my computer so I can start playing. The game has several things going for it and some things I hope they will change later. Stuff I don't like: No capes. No items (though this does end the endless looting and selling issue). You can't play a villian. No wall crawling abilities. No "trade skills" or ability skills other than combat related. Stuff I like: Character Creation is simple and yet still allows the creation of truely varied (superpower wise) characters. The Character appearance tools.. truly fun to tinker with to get the right look. A character "class" that is great for soloing (scrappers) and still capable of functioning in a team or group. A really great mission system, no more camping!!! A combat system that has you constantly pushing buttons and moving around for tactical advantage (I usually hate FPS games but it is so much better than the auto attack style of play). The simple camera controls. No money, all transactions (skill upgrades) are done by expending influence to trainers. Bear in mind that I was only able to play for a few hours total and didn't get past the "newbie zone" though I had a great time doing even that. I hope to be playing regularly after I upgrade the PC and finish moving. |

I got it I LOVE IT. The no items part is the best - NO CAMPING! Very fun game, detail is increadible. You can fly past skyscrapers, jump over cars, climb fire escapes...Its a major leap forward for MMORPGs. |

Oh and it is back sort of with a single private Server. I expect to be playing this again later tonight. This was my very first MMO before WoW grab me. But WoW sucks these days and this is back. |
