Just had notification that the Alienstar website has disappeared. (http://www.alienstar.co.uk). I don't know if its gone for good. According to a WHOIS search the name is still owned by Chris Bryant until 02-Nov-2005

Maybe he has the same problem as I have with the HOST screwing up the domain name (its taken me 10 days so far to try and resolve the freewargamesrules domain but almost sorted!!)

Another site is currently losting its rules at:
http://www.barbalet.net/alienstar/

It just looks like he hasn't updated it for a bit.

"This website has been disabled due to a breach of the freenetname terms and conditions.

As stipulated in our terms and conditions we may terminate your account if you fail to dial in to the freenetname service for more than 30 days. Please note: Use of the freenetname service is only valid if you are dialing up to the service using your own allocated freenetname username and password to log in.

According to our records, you have failed to use your account for over a 30-day period and your domain name has therefore been suspended."

Should be easy to resolve for him

Seems Alienstar (a great site with fantastic rules for free) went down, as pointed out before...

But it has been down for almost A MONTH, now.

I doubt there's any interest in maintaining it. =/

It will cost £25 to reactivate or move too

Dear Guys,

Finally, after months of trouble in a thing called life,www.alienstar.co.uk is back as kataphraktoi.com

A better server solution where I don't have to remember to dial up every month.

This a a permanent hosting solution with more potential for growth and fuctionality.

Enjoy.

Regards

Chris.
