Okay, not really invisible. But a food dye used in Doritos (and other products), when rubbed on the skin of mice, renders the skin transparent.

Don't worry, this is not one of those "you shouldn't be eating that" stories. It has nothing to do with ingestion, and the effect is entirely temporary (and so far, harmless to the mice). It's not certain it will work on humans (thicker skin), or if there are hazards yet unknown, but what a wild breakthrough this could be!

But it could lead to non-invasive methods of examining organs and blood vessels, simply by applying the dye to the skin.

"Should I fast before this procedure, Doctor?"
"Oh, no. Eat a bag of Doritos!"

"So, behave as usual, Doc?"

When munching on Doritos, I always take my shirt off, and have some Yuengling or Genny Cream Ale. It's a Summer thing.
So, yeah. Rubbing my hairy belly is involved.
