He was a terrific actor. Along with his Wellington from Bondarchuk's "Waterloo" I thought he was excellent in "Triple Cross." He was one of those actors who never did bad work and usually elevated others to his level. He will be missed. RIP. |

I thank him for his many roles in some of my favorite movies including "Murder by Decree" in which he & James Mason played Holmes & Watson investigating the "Jack the Ripper" crimes. |
