Very sad day indeed.

Another large part of my young manhood has passed with Sir Sean. So many great roles beyond his definitive Bond: "The Wind and the Lion," "The Great Train Robbery," "…Red October," "The Man Who Would Be King," and many, many others.
Thank you and Rest in Peace.

Interesting that he had a small part in one film
(The Longest Day) and the lead role in another (Dr. No)
both in 1962.

RIP and thank you for MANY hours of entertainment.

If he hadn't stepped aside (and allowed George Lazenby to fill in) Diana Riggs would've been Mrs. Bond to him!!!

Sad day… what else can 2020 take from us!?!?!

So … no Zardoz sequel, then?

I was hoping to see the film "Tarzan's Greatest Adventure" once again, perhaps on Turner Classic Movies. Connery played an alcoholic villain and left quite an impression on my 9-year old psyche at the time.
I also liked him very much in "Marnie." He just had so much class in that role.
And of course, "Goldfinger." My classmates and I were so impressed that we spent hours making secret weapons, like knives concealed in fountain pens, and bicycle-mounted rocket launchers that fired CO-2 cartridge projectiles.
What a great actor!
