Most of the riots that racked the United States within the last few months were organized by two socialist organizations which have close ties with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), said Trevor Loudon, author, and filmmaker, who has been researching radical and terrorist groups and their covert influence on mainstream politics for more than 30 years. The Freedom Road Socialist Organization (FRSO) based out of Minneapolis, an openly pro-CCP organization, and Bay Area-based Liberation Road, with very close ties to the Chinese consulate there and the Chinese Progressive Association (CPA), are behind the recent riots. link |

He's certainly an unbiased source. Not at all associated with white supremacist groups. Like "In June 2019 he was a scheduled speaker at a conference run by a group called "Texans Against Communism" in partnership with "Texans United for America" along with the leader of the Proud Boys and Joey Gibson of Patriot Prayer." (Houston Press) All are right wing extremist groups. |

Anyone around here remember when the "communists" were considered the bad guys? |
genew49 | 16 Oct 2020 4:43 p.m. PST |
Still are. So are far right groups. |

Yes, of course they are and we must all drink the Kook Aide the main stream media is selling comrade. Compliance in thought is essential. |

Freedom or communism, the choice is yours. |
genew49 | 18 Oct 2020 2:03 p.m. PST |
Why do you think I would choose communism just because I believe the FBI analysis of the far right groups mentioned. |
USAFpilot | 18 Oct 2020 2:43 p.m. PST |
It is currently the left wing groups (antifa, and another self proclaimed Marxist group) who are rioting, destroying property, and physically assaulting people. Yet the left leaning press distorts the truth and calls it "peaceful protests" as buildings burn in the background. I support law enforcement including the FBI, though the leadership at the FBI has become politicized and is therefore compromised. |

Was't defending the far left. Just pointing out that the FBI considered the groups named to dangerous. If you chose not to believe them for political reasons that's your right. Same as it's my right to believe them. Need we say more. |

Was't defending the far left In a way you were. The OP was about left groups and the CCP; and instead of commenting on them you deflect and bring up right wing extremists. I denounce right wing extremists, but does the left denounce communism? |

Don't put words in my mouth. I was referring to the groups mentioned in the original post. Commenting that the author has a long association with far right groups is not deflecting. Neither of the left wing groups mentioned have influence among mainstream liberals and are not considered threats by the FBI. I had never heard of them before. The author of the article asserts they are quite powerful and big political players. I don't think so. The radical left is no better than the radical right. I am not now nor have I ever been a member of the Communist Party. I am a patriotic American who happens to be left of center politically and resent being compared to the worst elements of the far, radical left. I am not a socialist, communist or Marxist although I appreciate benefits such as Social Security and Medicare. As I mentioned above you have a right to believe what you want, as do I. G-d Bless America. |

Thank you. Mutual respect is a good thing especially if we view some Issues differently. Thank you for having a civil discussion. Stay well. |

Although it could be that it is simply very badly written but the article provides no proof, just a a lot of intricate innuendo. The only consistent string in the article is Trevor Loudon who seems to invent conspiracies from the thin air and apparently sees communists everywhere. |
