Nope. Bad drawing.

In the first place, too many people are using this as a template or to do list, instead of a way of critiquing their comments.

Second, there is a significant qualitative difference between the top three layers and the next three. It is not a matter of degree, it is not a spectrum. It is no kind of pyramid.

In the top three layers you are discussing, debating, arguing in the productive sense. In the bottom four layers you are just bickering, quibbling at best, arguing in the bad sense.

The pyramid suggests that the upper layers are dependent on the lower levels. That isn't what the creator is trying to say, I hope. They may be trying to say that these are the better and less-good forms of argument, but that's not the case. The top three are arguing, and if you disagree with me but stay in those levels I am listening. If you're operating in the lower levels you are wasting everyone's time and whether you agree with me or not I wish you would quit talking and let someone else go.
