I just heard the news. According to Wikipedia, it was cancer.

What a beautiful woman she was, and thoroughly British. And the only "Bond girl" to marry the eternal "James Bond". By the way, here's a more formal photo of her to remember her by:

Ditto, Shagnasty. I heartily recommend viewing "Theater of Blood" in which she starred with Vincent Price.
