Thirteen Days, a few days later.

My brain kept trying to reconcile the goofy's from the mid-50's with the Evil Masterminds that almost brought us to Nuclear Armageddon just a few years later.

Now I think HBO came up with "Chernobyl" just for juxtaposition.

As Leo Szilard once commented on Cold War Soviet politics;"It would be impossible to guess the motivations of their decisions wihout first knowing which particular misconceptions they were based upon" ( From his acidly sarcastic, utterly hilarious but legally accurate short SF tale "My Trial As A War Criminal" ).

But isn't "The Death Of Stalin" just amazing? Especially the cast – Buscemi is startlingly good as Krschev, Micheal Palin plays Molotov like a distracted professor, and Jason Isaacs as Zhukov- Well, he's magnificent, even if only for his comment about Bulgharins hair! :D
