I have a pdf with fillable fields. Most of the fields let me enter text at the very top. Two fields, however, start me in the center, and only allow me one line of text. I have Adobe Acrobat. How do I change this to start at the top? I have looked at the field properties but I don't see where or how I can change this "internal" feature. Thanks |

If that's how the format was set up, you can't through Acrobat. You need to contact whoever made the form. If you have one of the various form designer tools, you can modify this yourself. It's pretty easy in most of them, just click on the box and you'll get a list of its properties so you can change them. If someone else owns the form and you are submitting it to them electronically, I advise against modifying the form. If they use any type of automated data collection from the forms, there is a high chance changing the form will interfere with automated reading. |

Check Properties -> Options and see if "Multi-line" is checked or not. |
