I learned from Henry Hyde today that Stuart passed away last night. He was a prolific and interesting writer and wargamer. Many if us own a number of his publications…Practical Wargames magazine, Military Modelling guides, rules, uniform books…the list goes on.

One of the gurus of wargaming. I have many of his books in my collection which I accumulated during the course of my participation in the hobby. He will be sorely missed.

The passing of another upon whom I relied heavily for
information and guidance back in the day. Never
met Mr. Asquith, but I owe him many 'thank you's'.

RIP.

Another giant gone. His contributions informed much of my gaming. RIP

RIP. I was very reluctant to write on this, because of all the emotion I felt about it.

Mr. Asquith was a gentleman and a great boon to us "young" folk coming into the hobby.
