Age 50, of a life-long struggle with kidney disease.

He did an able job of playing a character much younger than his own actual age. You never saw the man behind the boy, a rare talent even when aided by the alien makeup.

Thank you, Mr. Eisenberg. Warp speed!

It's incredibly hard to act and emote through latex and makeup.

That's why it's a shame sci fi is often overlooked in the drama sections.
One of the very best dramatic performances (in any movie or tv show in history) is Andreas Katsulas as G'Kar the amazing acting he did several times in that show, with latex, makeup coloured contacts. He should have gotten Emmys thrown after him.

And Aron did similar, like when he begs Sisco to join Starfleet academy, brillian scene.

I was just thinking of that scene before I read your post! Yes, extremely effective episode and performance by Eisenberg, portraying the young man no one has faith in, who has a seemingly impossible dream and just needs the chance to pursue it.
