"Extinct" species found to be not actually extinct. Small but viable colony found living in wet plastic bags.

Fortunately they breed like billy-o, so now there are thousands being released back into nature from a Chester Zoo and the Zoological Society of London captive-breeding initiative.

Not a problem – only a few species of snail are eaten in France.

And they are delicious. grin
