What is your favourite Tarzan movie? I remember the old black and white movies with Johnny Weissmuller. They were cool with all those warriors and lions attacking the white guys all the time. But "Legend of Tarzan" from 2016 was so boring and full of potholes. But my favourite Tarzan movie is "Tarzan the Ape Man" from 1981 with Bo Derek for obvious reasons. |

Gotta go with the classic "Tarzan the Ape Man" (1931) with Weissmuller. Lots of action plus pygmies (called dwarves in the movie?) – nothing like the pygmies vs. elephants scenes. Of course the movie is considered very non-PC today which makes me love it even more. A high honorable mention for "Tarzan and His Mate" for the great pre-code scenes. |

Gotta say I liked "Tarzan's Greatest Adventure." Tarzan picks off his enemies one by one, has sex showing his enjoyment, kills his enemy and does the yell over his dead body! |

All the Johnny Weissmuller ones come first. I used to watch them every Sunday, until my sister marched into the living room and switched the channel to Shirley Temple. Boo! "Oh, Tahzan, Tahzan! We must get Boy back to Civilization!" |

+1 Oppiedog "Tarzan and His Mate" came as a real surprise when I first saw it a few years ago. "My initial reaction was: 'How did they get this past the censors back then?' Not only do we get to see Jane in all manner of undress, but she pretty much comes right out and says that the only reason she's hanging around with Tarzan is because of the great sex they have :) |

Of the classic ones ,"Tarzan's New York Adventure" stands out as one of my personal faves, as does "Tarzan Finds A Son!";Disney's version had some fun stuff in there too. |
