Once I have movies downloaded onto such vehicle, is there a USB/data port of some sort to download moves to a thumb drive or some such?

If not, do I have an electronic way of doing so?

Good Luck. Worst company I've ever dealt with.

However, IIRC there was a USB data port on the main DVR set. However, I could never manage to download anything on it. Then again, I believe it was more operator error than anything else. Get some high school aged person to do it for you.

No, due to copyright restrictions.
That doesn't mean that a gifted nerd couldn't do it.

Thanks!

I'm fairly good at this stuff, but if I can't crack the code, I know someone who can!

I worked on a competitors product. A lot of time is spent to make sure you cant dowload your recordings.

I'm not surprised.
Netflix certainly doesn't want anyone recording Stranger Things and then selling copies.

Understood, I myself just wanted old movies, but life goes on…Thanks all!

By the way, the latest Xfinity DVR has a 60 hour capacity.
I don't use it if the show I want to watch is free On Demand.
With the Voice Remote, its easy to see your options.
