The Library of Congress National Film Registry, which is celebrating their 30th Anniversary this year, has announced their annual list of 25 films that they deem as "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" for permanent preservation. The list can be seen at: link Are any of the films your favorites? Maybe one or two are personal "guilty pleasures"? How about suggestions for next year's list? |

Like as been said, some very good and deserving films and a couple not so impressive PC entries. But, better than most lists of this type. |

TCM was showing "My Fair Lady" last night,along w/a silent-era short and an animated short. . Was definitely surprised(but not too much) by a few of the picks. |
