Thor Shiel passed away 11/21/2018. He frequently posted here on TMP and operated the above mentioned website. He was a veteran. Several tributes have been posted on various toy soldier blogs and websites.

His train website was a treasure trove of information for train buffs and his Army Men homepage took many of us back to our childhood beginnings with 54mm plastic army men. He provided updates about new products, reviews on existing ones as well as writing simple, unpretentious rules. He was well known within the toy soldier hobby.

Thanks for your contribution to both hobbies.

Rest in Peace, Sir.
