"It was definitely one of the greatest victories in the history of television. Two years ago when ABC decided to kill its best watched comedy LAST MAN STANDING after six years of running (during which the sitcom continuously kept winning Friday night ratings each week and each year, even though it received almost no marketing from the network), for rather obvious political reasons, more than half a million of Last Man's most faithful fans have demanded its return in an online petition, and now the sitcom is returning to the small screens: new network, Fox, same time, Friday evenings, starting September 28th! Although people who never watched it like to unjustly call it conservative, LAST MAN STANDING is everything but. The most wholesome family show on the television has always put focus on a dialogue between opposing opinions, ages and classes, ending each of its love filled episodes with a message of tolerance and compromise. Message of peace wrapped in decent, always fresh and mature, humour while tackling the current social, political and all other issues. So here's a big hooray for the return of television's most beloved multi camera comedy!"

people who never watched it like to unjustly call it conservative,

Rather, only those who'd never watched it would call it anything but.

Hollywood Spy must be on the payroll to write this nonsense.

I'm sure that, for some "tolerant", spoiled or greedy individuals, the fact that 95-99% of programming is exactly the kind of cookie-cutter programming that they want and like will never be enough.

Darn whiny little cookie monsters.

You watch *that* much TV? That might be the problem. If you take out news shows, I wouldn't watch 2 hours a week.

I guess when you spend hours in front of the "idiot box", anything mildly different, even if, in reality, still following the trite formula & delivering the stale, old jokes, can look good to the "herd" who love such things.

Could I suggest, read a book? Rather than watch tripe, I find reading still a valuable way to pass time.

Hey Dave,

Did you hear that? I thought I heard a tiny little squeak from somewhere. Very distant and faded. Barely noticeable.
