Week 2 results so far;Cardiff/Newcastle,not a sausage and the Geordies lose Hayden to a red card for a rather rough foul on the Bluebirds' Murphy.. Likewise Leicester holds on for a 2-0 win over the Wolves,in spite of Jamie Vardy being sent off in the 66th minute for a bad foul on the Wolves' Doherty. Everton tops Southampton 2-1,as do Bournemouth over West Ham and Spurs top Fulham 3-1 and Chelsea 3-2 over Arsenal.

Monday,Liverpool dropped Palace 2-0,who played a man short when Wan-Bissaka was sent off for a serious foul in the 79th minute, against Mo Saleh.

Saturday,a 2-1 win for Brighton over 10 man Huddersfield(Steve Mounie of the Terriers being sent off 32 minutes in for spiking a Brighton player),2-0 to Palace over Burnley,ditto Leicester over Watford(who also was short when Hornet Etienne Capoue was given a red card in the 90th minute. ManCity over Bournemouth 3-1(no bookings),West Ham thumps Newcastle 3-0,all square 2-2 for ManUtd./Southampton. Sunday;Arsenal 4-2 over Spurs, in the North London Derby.
