This looks interesting. A Toy Soldier Story.

Fascinating. All the more so because It's based on a true story depicted in this documentary: link

True but this does look creepy at times.

I am on the fence on this.

It looks like it has a comedic bent instead of a dramatic one. Since it is Steve Carell it looks like he is reprising similar roles like he did in "40 Year Old Virgin" and "Dinner for Schmucks" and I do not feel good about this guy being ridiculed.

It has some humor but I don't think it plays as a straight comedy (A quirky dramedy maybe). Though Carell's known for comedy he's had non-comedic roles like in ' The Big Short,' 'Foxcatcher' and 'Battle of the Sexes.'

I think it's going to be like one of Zemeckis' other films, 'Forrest Gump,' with a blend of drama, fantasy and humor.

Besides, it's a "WW2 G.I. Joe coming to life" movie with Janelle Monae in it.

I also kinda wanna check out the documentary It's based on now.

Saw this last weekend. It's panned by the critics and flopped at the box office but I loved it!

Besides, it should naturally appeal to wargamers with its many battle scenes waged by animated 1/6 scale action figures.
