Yes, but it is Texas. Everything is bigger in Texas. One "Lone Star" is equal to at least 4 "Average Stars" any day of the week.

The bigger bit is perception.

In TX for DOM's graduation a native was discussing with us out-of-staters. "I can get in my car and drive for eight hours straight and still be in Texas."

"That's nothing," I replied, "I live in Washington, DC. I can get in my car, drive for eight hours and still be within two blocks of where I started!"
