Roger Bannister, the first person to be recorded running a sub 4 Minute Mile has died peacefully in Oxford on 3 March, aged 88, surrounded by his family who were as loved by him, as he was loved by them. link Yes his recorded only lasted 46 days but he was the first to achieved this feat and that is what will be remembered. May he Rest in Peace. |
