We are watching the Miss Peregrine's Home For Perculiar Children and my wife said that the girl with the insulating gloves looked ill. I stopped to check out other pictures of the actress and, I've gotta say, that level of weight loss can't be normal or healthy. Poor child. All the cells in her frail little body must be screaming in agony. Dan

Without knowing whether this is the result of some other health issue, it looks bad. My sister went from anorexia in high school to a 'controlled' bulimia and is still with us. Unfortunately that isn't the usual progression. Hopefully, whatever the cause, she adds some weight. That isn't healthy… |

I'm so happy for your sister. That is quite an accomplishment. They put a lot of makeup on Lauren in the movie, but you can still see how skinny she is. Yes. I hope she gains and maintains a healthy amount of weight and that her organs don't suffer any long term damage due to her low weight. Dan |
