Has this started in the USA yet?

It's being trailed to death in the UK – and it looks absolutely awful.

Anyone seen it ?

It has been running here in the States for awhile and yes it is truly awful. Despite a couple of attempts I haven't been able to watch an entire program.

Tastes differ, of course. I've watched every episode
aired so far and the quality has varied widely, from
'pretty decent' to 'how in heck can they air carp like
this ?'

I like it. Annie Potts steals every science she's in

I'm sure I'll watch it when it starts…it's just that the trailers are so unfunny. And usually these are what's thought to be the "good bits" or "the big laughs". Which is….worrying. frown

I found it to be a waste of 30 minutes of my life. Sorry.

I love it, witty and Funny the young actor playing Sheldon is great, as well as the rest of the cast. I do not watch the big bang but I know the characters and find that you are able to watch this show as a stand alone.

I like it, YMMV

Watched a couple of episodes on the plane on the way to Rome.

I'd have walked out but we were cruising at 35 000 feet.

I nominate jdpintex for Autocorrect victim of the week award.

As for the show, Meh. I've seen much worser and I've seen betterer.

Depends on what you like. I like it and find it funnier than TBBT.

I saw about ten minutes of it and it was ten minutes of crap. I can't speak to the rest of the series.

Pictors Studio19 Feb 2018 3:53 p.m. PST

I find the Big Bang Theory to be crap too just for your calibration.

Old Wolfman22 Feb 2018 7:54 a.m. PST

Haven't had time to watch it,myself.

Well – episode 1 wasn't so terrible. Not so very funny, but it's establishing the character set at the moment. In Big Bang proper there have been many mentions of childhood experiences: it sort of looks as if a lot of these throw away jokes will be whole episodes.

Not sure "adult Sheldon" as a sympathetic narrator works that well. But I'll watch episode 2. Probably.
